Inside the Hermitage museum. The building (the Winter Palace) is as interesting as the huge collection it houses, which includes art from ancient Egypt to Greece (this room) to modern times, but which concentrates on Western European painting. With three million works of art, it is one of the largest museums in the world. After probably about 8 hours there on two visits, I doubt I saw half of the main building, and none of its other buildings.
