	One afternoon we had a ski race for some fun. The skis were pieces of wood from pallets, with one metal strap to hold them on your feet, adding to the challenge even for those who could ski (the Norwegians).
	The announcer and organizer.
	The workshop, with an assortment of condiments for wax.

	Bear guard
	It was a relay, so getting the skis from one person to the next was sometimes a team activity.
	I gave it a try, but running would definitely have been faster.
