The William Creek Hotel (/pub/restaurant/fuel/service station). They have a diesel generator out back that provides power (turned off at night in cool weather) and regular phone service via a microwave link to Coober Pedy, though it's sometimes unreliable so the phone company provides them with a satellite phone so they can call to let the company know when service is out.
