From just east of William Creek I took one of Anna Creek's roads 70 km (43 miles) up to the edge of the northern part of Lake Eyre (you could see the southern part in the distance in an earlier photo). This is the beach, with the lake in the background. If there were water it might actually feel like an ocean beach.
