Through the fog from my breath you can see the inside of the dome. Starting with the edge of the building on the far right and going left they are: the edge of the galley; communications (first floor of building in back), library, TV lounge, pool room, store and post office (second floor of building in back); housing (with the door). Also inside the dome is the science building, where the station meteorologists and a computer lab are, the freshie shack (a building heated to just above freezing so that can be used as a refrigerator for things that shouldn't be frozen), and some other buildings. During summer the dome's doors are open, so the temperature is about the same as outside; in winter they close the doors and the temperature is slightly warmer than outside. Most buildings are kept at a comfortable room temperature, though floors and outside walls sometimes remain cold.
