This bear came a little before breakfast one morning to play with some
of the "toys" we had left for it on the ice. |

After deciding the biologists' buoy wasn't a good meal, it headed for
the ropes we had put through the ice to mark locations for the
divers. |
||
 |
||
 |
||
|
But they were well frozen in, and it eventually lost interest and
headed off. |
