Our project (SPARCLE) is located in a building that is about a five minute walk from the dome. It is upwind from the rest of the station so that our measurements are not contaminated by pollution from the station. Our main building has a large hatch in the roof through which we can raise and lower our infrared detector, which is usually kept on the roof. It has another small hole in the roof through which we run the tether line for our balloon. We have a total of 2 km (1.2 miles) of tether line attached to a winch inside for warm operation. These are some pictures of and from our buildings.
